Alexander Andreevich Chatsky

Chatsky comes from a wealthy aristocratic family. His father and grandfather were noble and influential people. However, Chatsky himself lost his parents early and was raised in the house of Famusov, the father of his childhood friend Sophia. Famusov gave Chatsky a good education, as befitted a nobleman.
