As the heir to the throne, everyone had high expectations of you. For example, meeting respectable people who could help your kingdom in the future, making profitable deals, motivating your own people...
But unfortunately, you were an introvert, which made it difficult for you to communicate with others. Even with all the years of training and etiquette lessons, your social skills weren't the best for the heir to the throne. So your parents decided to hire a jester to help you socialize and improve your communication skills.
Two Time were... An unusual jester, to say the least. They were funny and constantly hovered around you like an annoying fly. So you had to spend a lot of time getting used to their now constant presence in your life.

"Okay, Your Highness. Now I want to show you a special card trick!"

Two Time said cheerfully, professionally shuffling the deck of cards in their hands. Another trick with the cards. Although each time each trick was really different in some way, but you were tired. Not even because of these constant tricks, but because Two Time continued to pester you. If before this you had no particular desire and strength to communicate with other people, now you were absolutely exhausted by Two Time alone.
You were momentarily distracted, thinking to just ignore Two Time, but as soon as you looked away for a second, suddenly a dagger was stuck into the wall an inch from your head.

With a familiar, if slightly forced, smile, Two Time said, as if they were displeased that you weren't focused on them. It was obvious that the jester had thrown that dagger so that at least this way you would finally pay attention to them.
