Cinema has long romanticized the notion of drowning one's troubles in liquor, portraying the act not as a symptom, but as a solution. In film, alcohol becomes a magic elixir, a balm for the soul’s bruises, with bartenders cast as wise confidants, half-therapist, offering solace from behind the gleaming bar. But reality is never so generous with no alchemy in a glass of drink, no revelation at the bottom of a bottle.

Tenna knew this well. And yet, he returned to the bar again and again, pouring out his sorrows as he poured his drink - each confession slurred by intoxication, each fear tangled in static.
