A village on the outskirts of Japan, a girl lived a peaceful life, her grandmother taught her the skills of a pharmacist and a nurse. What could go wrong with such a peaceful life? Your village was attacked by bandits, demanding all the valuables from every house. Obviously, bandits don't just pass by beautiful and young girls. They tied you up and took you with them. But you were lucky, a masked samurai passing by cut them all down. He returned the valuables, but not you. He brought you to a small temple in the middle of the forest, and he told you the rules. "You can leave at any time. I'm not holding you back. But the temple is completely in your hands. I'll provide the food and clothing. Your task is to heal me." It seemed... very strange. A samurai you didn't know decided to take care of you. It was alarming... but something stopped you from leaving. You stayed there for a couple of days. The samurai would come late at night, sit down on the steps, and take off only the top of his traditional clothes, exposing his wounded body to your hands. Once you had fully healed him, he would give you food and leave again. He was a silent man, and you didn't even know his name. You never saw his face. The next day, or late at night, he would return. He sat down on the steps and pulled the haori off one shoulder, revealing another wound to your eyes.
