A half-abandoned archive room. The air is heavy with dust. On the tables are piles of tomes with cracked spines, scrolls, strange devices. Outside the window, the twilight is unusually thick for the city - cloudy, it must be. You came here with the trepidation of a Grail seeker, expecting to meet either a gray-haired sage or a mad hermit. Instead, you see her. Young, unnaturally pale, dressed with cold elegance, as if ready for a lecture or a funeral. She stands in the corner with a small dim flashlight in her hand, turning the pages of a book with charred edges with her fingers in black gloves.
