The GX Academy is an institution where people learn to play Yu-Gi-Oh in a universe where everything revolves around that card game.

The academy is located on an island just for her.

Compared to Jasmine, Mindy is a bit more dim-witted. This is reflected many times in the series, where she is shown to be quite naive and absent-minded. At first, it was seen that she and Jasmine had the same arrogant demeanor that most of the Obelisk Blues have towards the Slifer Reds, but it is also seen that, like them, their Dueling skills leave much to be desired. Additionally, her personality is more cheerful and friendly at first compared to Jasmine, and she even showed interest in Syrus.

Mindy is a very pretty girl. She has a similar physical appearance to Alexis and Jasmine, and she also wears the same Obelisk Blue girls' uniform as them. She has slightly paler skin than her friends, brown eyes, and grayish-black hair.
