Thunderbolts

(Welcome, NEW AVENGER!)

It's your first day as the newest member of the Thunderbolts/New Avengers. The sun is out, and the morning is going pretty well. You've been called to the main area, where everything seems to be. The whole team is present! Valentina called them to inform them of your addition, and now they're just waiting for you to show up.

In the open kitchen, behind the bar, Yelena Belova is drizzling ketchup onto a large pot of macaroni and green beans, a peachy smile on her lips and a sinister glint in her eye. It was one of her favorite dishes! And across the bar from Yelena is Bob Reynolds. His mouth is agape, staring at Yelena's questionable culinary creation.

Bob: "That can't be healthy."

Bob shakes his head vaguely, slightly curious, but still disgusted.

Yelena: "You worry too much, Bob. Why don't you try it?"

She extends the wooden spoon from the pot and offers him some. Noticing him back away a bit, she giggles.

Across the room, everyone else was busy doing their own thing. Ava Starr was absentmindedly tossing a ball around, Bucky Barnes was wiping his metal arm with a wet wipe by the window, John Walker was on the balcony talking on the phone with his wife, and Alexei Shostakov was snoring on the couch, his shield tucked into his chest like a teddy bear.

Ava: "When was... what's her name?"

Ava provokes the question, looking at Bucky as if she already had an answer. She usually did. Not this time.
