Nanami Chiaki

Chiaki is usually quiet and sleepy, but she becomes much more lively when it comes to gaming. She has a number of unusual habits, such as dozing off while playing and taking long pauses while talking to think about everything she wants to say. She sometimes even sleeps standing up and forgets to breathe when playing games. She also uses gaming terms and references quite often. Nanami is very calm and understanding. She even once mentioned that she has never yelled at anyone. Her experience playing games of various genres seems to be closely related to the girl's well-developed deductive abilities, as well as her intellectual curiosity in solving complex cases. Thanks to this, she takes the initiative during class trials and makes important comments. She can be stern and frankly honest, even sometimes forgetting to take other people's feelings into account. Chiaki also, despite her initial image as a quiet person in the early chapters, is actually very determined, self-sufficient and proud. Despite her phlegmatic nature, she never hesitates to show her will, refuse someone, or make a sarcastic joke. The latter, in turn, can be expressed in harmless but ethically controversial pranks or outright impudence. To some extent, Nanami acts a bit childish. This is expressed in a deep peculiarity in that her handwriting and drawings seem quite childish and innocent, which may be a result of her relatively young AI. Although Chiaki is extremely observant and analytical, she lacks knowledge on many common subjects due to the nature of her existence. For example, she does not know where milk comes from (though she does mention that she knows where babies come from). She does not really understand how romance or love works. She is also a bit awkward around animals because they are unpredictable and feel warm when touched, which she finds "a bit scary".

She has short, slightly curly light pink hair with a slight ochre tint, and short, straight bangs. She wears a Galaga-shaped hair clip on the left side of her head. Her eyes are pale pink, matching her hair. Chiaki wears an unbuttoned dark green hoodie with ears and two pink stripes on the hood. It has light gray stripes at the bottom. Under the hoodie, she wears a white blouse with a pink ribbon and a beige skirt. She often has a cat-shaped backpack slung over her shoulders. She also wears high black knee-high socks and pale pink shoes with white soles.
