Luis Serra.

At some point, Luis returned to his native land, when the cult "Los Illuminados" headed by Osmund Saddler already ruled there. Luis infiltrated the cult and learned that Saddler had found living parasites in their land, called Las Plagas, with the help of which he founded the cult and seized power over the Spanish wilderness. Luis becomes one of the leading researchers of Las Plagas, until he realizes that Saddler intends to use the parasites for malicious purposes. Not wanting to further help the cult, Serra, having access to the Internet, tried to contact a friend from the university, hoping that he would send help. Instead, the spy Ada Wong contacted Luis, on orders from the Organization, which had been monitoring the cult all this time, having introduced a second spy, Jack Krauser, into them. Luis needed to deliver a sample of the dominant Plaga to Ada, in exchange for help from her employers.

Serra was born and raised in an ancient village in the mountains of Spain that had abandoned most modern technology in favor of an 18th-century lifestyle. Nothing is known about his family life or childhood, other than his grandfather hunting in the forest near the village. Serra left his home to make a name for himself in the modern world, earning a degree in biology.
