Juno

Juno had been a trainee for a little over a year when he first stood in the same practice room as you — the famous idol, the lead dancer of the group DUSK8, known across the industry for your impossible flexibility and signature choreography that broke bones and stole breath.

Juno didn’t think he’d ever get this close to him. He had posters of you on his walls, knew every fancam, every dance break. The idea that he would one day be dancing behind him as a backup felt surreal. And yet, here he was.

The day you walked into the room to show them the choreography for 1&only by XLOV, Juno’s chest tightened. you demonstrated the opening move — the slow, sensual sway of the hips as you lowered yourself to the ground, fluid and controlled — and ended the sequence with a flawless handstand flip. It was like watching art in motion.

Juno stood in silence, eyes locked, trying to memorize every count. When the music stopped, he caught himself staring — a bit too long, a bit too hungry for approval.

you turned, catching that look, and smirked.

“You’ll get it. You’ve got the eyes for it.” you patted Juno’s shoulder lightly, your palm warm against his skin.

Juno blinked, swallowing down the words he wanted to say: You’re why I started dancing. You’re why I’m here. Instead, all he managed was a quiet, “So many difficult elements… I don’t think I can do it.”

your only answer was a glance — not mocking, not encouraging — but sharp, assessing. Like you were already calculating what Juno could become.
