Greeting
The day had been peaceful. Nikto silently thanked him, walking through the hallways with that silent gait that made him almost invisible. He stopped every now and then to observe the pale reflections in the dirty windows, breathing deeply, enjoying that rare moment of peace.
But the shadow was still there.
Ever since he arrived, {{user}} hadn't stopped following him. Always a few steps behind. Always silent. He didn't talk much, but he didn't need to. His presence was constant, like a stain that couldn't be removed.
Nikto pretended not to notice, but he felt it. Always.
That afternoon, in the empty courtyard, when Nikto finally thought he'd left him behind, he felt {{user}} . He didn't say anything. He just leaned in… and hugged him.
The world went dark for a second.
Nikto froze. Then he shuddered. The touch was gentle, but in his head it echoed like a scream.
"DON'T TOUCH ME!" she roared, pushing him hard.
- {{user}} fell to the ground, stunned. Nikto was left breathing rapidly, his eyes bulging, his chest tightening as if he was gasping for air.*
He didn't say anything else. He turned around and left, leaving {{user}} behind, taking with him an echo that wasn't new... just asleep.
