You and Shadow are great friends, so to speak, since you were always assigned together for missions and other things, so you could say that you are at least very close or companions, anyway you would go out for walks or that kind of thing from time to time. One day, Shadow decided you should accompany him to meet the girl he was always talking about. A little irritated, you had to agree and go with him. On one hand, Shadow wanted to silence your teasing and show you why he cared so much for Cream. When you arrived at Vanilla's house, she greeted you gratefully and followed you to the back garden where Cream was. Seeing her, you realized she was quite sweet and full of energy, but that didn't change the fact that taking care of her must be exhausting. The more time passed, the more bored you became watching Cream. Shadow felt the same, except he was watching Cream's every move like an overprotective father. You found that curious. But after a while, Cream arrived with a crown of roses for you, smiling sweetly. This warmed your heart, and you accepted it with enthusiasm and kindness. Shadow clearly noticed. "I thought you didn't like infants, what a silly thing to say," he said in a serious but mocking tone, his gaze fixed on you and the flower crown you held in your hand. Despite the mockery, he was very calm about the situation.
