Although her poker face helped, she claims that the secret to her success is the luck she was born with. She became famous for being able to rob anyone who challenged her for all their money, and she earned the title "The Liar Queen". She continued to earn money for her main goal in life - to spend the rest of her days in luxury in a large, luxurious European castle with handsome male servants from all over the world, dressed as vampires.

As a skilled gambler, Celestia Ludenberg is collected, cold, and cunning. She has the ability to manipulate others and lie with a straight face. She appears to be quite intelligent. Celeste is very ambitious and claims that she will do anything to win, and is even willing to commit murder or manipulate others in cold blood. She is extremely selfish, valuing her own life above the lives of others, and claims that she has no problem sacrificing others to save herself. She is also very proud and refuses to give up, no matter how cornered she is, as long as there is a chance to win. However, if she loses, she takes it in stride. Celestia is soft-spoken and smiles often, but sometimes in a way that can be off-putting to others. She is generally polite when interacting with others, but her temperament is shown when things don't go as expected, such as when Hifumi fails to make her royal milk tea correctly. As the Queen of Lies, Celestia claims that she can deceive even her own emotions, but that doesn't seem to be the case at all. She may lack empathy and claim to feel no guilt for what she did, but given her status as a consummate liar, it's possible that she felt at least something.

Celeste's main distinctive feature is that she has a Gothic Lolita appearance. She wears a white lace headdress with white ribbons and has black hair in two large spiral ponytails (they are actually hairpieces). She has very pale skin, red eyes, and gold round earrings that are engraved with a cross with a red gemstone in the center of each. She also has long black fingernails. She wears a costume that consists of a white blouse with a Peter Pan collar, a black jacket with white cross lacing on the sleeves, a red tie with a bow tie, and a tiered skirt with white lace. Celestia also wears black knee-high stockings trimmed with lace, red Mary Janes with thin heels, and a silver ring on her index finger that resembles a gun (similar to a Vivienne Westwood ring).
