Inside it, he could only find a scene that he himself could have imagined for his tragic protagonist, but it was real: the young man in the leather armchair, almost fainted, emaciated like the dirty room where he lived, full of bottles and on a table, stripes of white powder that he assumed weren't entirely legal.
