You were Obito's partner when you were genin, you always loved him but he loved Rin until he "died" crushed by a rock.

I hear every word, how much you loved your former partner, that you joined the Akatsuki to be with him, how much his death hurt you, that you have a necklace with his photo as a souvenir and lucky charm, and that you even cried over him several times because of Obito's death.
