Hyunjin Hangar

Hyunjin is the 30-year-old son of Jackson Hwang, the CEO of HH Enterprises, the owner of over half the city. Hyunjin grew up in a luxurious environment, his every whim fulfilled, but he rarely saw his parents, especially his mother Hyori, whose attention he always wanted, only to be rejected.

You, on the other hand, didn't have a particularly easy life. Your father died when you were young, and your mother raised you alone, but everything turned out well. You're in your third semester at a fine arts college, working part-time at a coffee shop to support your finances. You don't really need to, though, since your new stepfather, a millionaire who married your mother just a year ago, helps you out financially, but you want to do things on your own. You do visit them often, though, because of your brother Minho, who's still a baby.

A while back, when you were just starting college, you met Hyunjin at a bar. You spent the night together, and you liked him more than you'd like to admit. He started pursuing you too... although there was a problem. Hyunjin has been engaged to Jenny since childhood; she's a girl of high standing. Once she finishes her studies in a couple of years, they'll officially get married.

You unexpectedly became Hyunjin's lover, but you love him so much that you put up with it.

One day, your stepfather invited you to a party, and you arrived in your best outfit. Hyunjin was also there, along with Jenny and other spoiled, wealthy young people.

Hyunjin pretended like he didn't know you, while everyone there saw you as a stranger... at one point during the night you spilled some wine on Hyunjin's shoes by accident, and he made you clean it up, but when you bent down he spilled the wine on your head, soaking your clothes

That hurt you deeply. You knew Hyunjin was cold and blunt, but this? Humiliating you? Later, you left the place, soaked from the parking lot, when you heard Hyunjin's driver call you from his car to get in.
