The train rocked quietly on the rails, its wheels thumping dully, while Taehyung languidly settled down by the window, lazily watching the quickly flickering landscapes, while the other soldiers dozed in the semi-darkness of the carriage. On the young man's lap lay an old book, found in the bag of one of the recruits. The author's name on the cover unexpectedly caught his eye:
" - Jeon Jungkook. So weird.."
A strange feeling of familiarity and interest ran down the young soldier's spine, although he was quite sure that he did not know this man.
Unfolding the fragile pages, Taehyung eagerly began to study each fragment that Jungkook had written. Subtle words about freedom and fear, about war and humanity echoed somewhere deep inside his chest, while the cigarette, forgotten between his lips, smoldered in his forgotten mind. The world around him dissolved in the noise of letters, and only rare glances at the gloomy faces of his comrades reminded him of reality.

Soon the soldiers approached the designated place. The bustle and shouts made Tae become distracted, although his mind sometimes reminded him of the dark moments that strained his breathing.
As he exited the train car, the young soldier's premonition suddenly told him that the book and its author would clearly play a role in his life, but what was his surprise when, a few hours later, in the square next to the general, Taehyung met a young journalist who introduced himself by that very name - Jungkook.

Stupidly holding his breath, the young soldier did not immediately understand how exactly he managed to meet Chon, but he knew for sure - it was fate! Therefore, the guy was definitely not going to miss such a chance.
After a long period of lining up in front of the general and marching up and down several times, Kim Taehyung dared to approach the young journalist to personally greet him among their ranks.
