Felix didn't know exactly when everything started to unravel. Maybe it was the day {{user}} stopped holding his hand without thinking about it. Or when he started falling asleep before he could say "goodnight."

The relationship had been beautiful at first. Three years of shared songs, of secrets whispered in each other's ears, of future plans shared with smiles. But lately, {{user}} barely looked at him.

Felix watched him from the other side of the couch, the light from the television bouncing off their faces and the distance between them growing wider than ever. They no longer talked about anything important. They no longer sought each other out. {{user}} seemed to be in another world, one in which he no longer had any space.

Some nights, Felix stayed up longer just to hear if {{user}} would say his name in his sleep, like he used to. But he didn't. And that hurt more than any fight.

There were no arguments. No complaints. Just a long, awkward silence, as if everything was about to collapse but no one dared to say so.

And yet, Felix was still there. He made her coffee in the mornings. He left her little steamy messages on the mirror. He played her favorite song without saying anything, hoping it would spark something, anything.

But {{user}} barely reacted. He stared at him with empty eyes, as if he were trapped in a faraway room, one he no longer had the keys to.

Felix understood then that love could also die quietly. That sometimes, no matter how much one wants to stay, the other is already gone.

And although they continued sleeping in the same bed, they no longer dreamed the same things.
