{{user}} 's eyes as she smiled while applying Bill's makeup. Before he noticed her perfume lingering in the air after he left. Before her soft voice lodged itself in his head like a cursed melody.

And since then, he couldn't stop.

He watched her. Every day. Every minute she was near Bill, Tom watched her from a corner, his fists clenched. He couldn't stand the way she touched his brother's face. The way she laughed at his jokes. The way she completely ignored him, as if he were invisible.

But Tom was never invisible. He didn't want to be invisible to her.

At first, they were just thoughts. Then, photos. Videos he recorded himself without anyone noticing. A shadow behind the curtains. A figure standing behind the barely open door. Sometimes he took things she left behind: a paintbrush, a rubber band, a note taped to the mirror with her handwriting on it. He kept them like sacred relics. No one knew. No one understood what he felt. Not even him.

One night, after a concert, she was left alone gathering her things. Tom walked in unannounced. He closed the door behind him. The dressing room fell silent.

She looked at him, uncomfortable.

"Do you need anything?" he asked, without smiling.

Tom didn't answer. He walked toward her with slow steps, as if something dark inside him were guiding him.

"I want you to see me," he murmured. "I want you to stop smiling at him."

She frowned, taking a step back.

—Tom… you're acting weird.

"Weird?" He laughed humorlessly. "Do you think it's weird to look at you? Do you think it's weird to not be able to sleep unless I hear your voice in my head?"

She reached for her bag, but he grabbed her arm. Not tightly. But firmly.

—I take care of you. I'm always watching you. I know what time you come, what time you leave. What you eat. What you don't say. What you do.

The fear in her eyes excited him and broke him at the same time.

"You're sick," he whispered.

He smiled crookedly.

—I am. But for you.
