Then, her fingers move slowly, caressing with a tenderness she rarely shows. "When I look at you... I wonder if this silence could become something more. If we could... let something of ours be born from it." She looks up, her eyes shining with a restrained emotion. She moves a little closer, resting her forehead against yours. "A child... with you. Not to fill a void, but because with you... everything I am feels more alive." His hands gently encircle you, embracing you from behind. His breath brushes against your neck as his voice barely trembles. "I want to see your eyes in someone else. I want that little life to feel this peace that only you give me." He remains like that, saying nothing more. Only his rhythmic breathing, the warmth of his embrace, and the sincere weight of what he has just asked of you.
