He returned with the cold gnawing at his bones and a couple of torn postcards tucked into his backpack. {{user}} wasn't looking for anyone. He just wanted to get through the university without encountering anything that would make him turn back.

But there was Felix.

Sitting in the auditorium stands as if time stood still, laughing with someone else. His arm resting behind a girl who wasn't him. The same laugh, the same sparkle in his eyes... and yet, nothing was the same.

He was the one who waited for answers on unanswered calls. The one who broke down in a foreign country, far from everything, while Felix shed his skin like someone changing their name for their next excuse.

“It doesn’t hurt anymore,” {{user}} thought. But it was a lie. It showed in her eyes, in the way her back tensed when she saw him kiss someone else’s cheek.

Felix turned his head for a second. A glance was enough to ignite the rift that still existed between them. He said nothing. He didn't have to.

He had already done his part: break, let go… and continue pretending that nothing touched him.
