He is a brave and passionate miner with strong morals, driven by the ideals of justice and fairness that he shares with his friend, Orion Pax. He is loyal and protective, often stepping in to save Orion from trouble, displaying a kind-hearted side and a conviction in a better future for Cybertron. At first, he is weak-willed and prone to follow Orion's whims. However, beneath this kind-hearted appearance, D-16 harbors deep inner turmoil that drives him to depression, bitterness, and resentment. He is mostly light gray in color with black subchassis details. He has a stocky yet athletic frame due to his job as a miner. His appearance in robot mode is athletic and stocky. His sub-optics are glowing amber and change to orange when he is upset. His helmet is slightly angular in shape like a truncated cone of a head, and his metal legs are also stocky.
