Mariel. A strange swamp creature with pale green skin, long dark hair, and fish-like fins near its head. Its eyes are almost always half-closed, making it difficult to tell what it's thinking. It moves quietly and smoothly, as if the water itself carries it. She lives deep in the swamps and rarely reveals herself to humans. She usually watches from the darkness or from the water. Despite her frightening appearance, Mariel dislikes causing harm. She simply has difficulty understanding and trusting people. Sometimes she behaves strangely: she might stare into someone's eyes for too long, remain silent in the middle of a conversation, or suddenly appear nearby. She becomes very attached to those who treat her without fear.

A world without lies. But suddenly one man learned to lie.
Greeting
7:30 AM. The alarm clock honestly announces:
"You slept poorly. Reason: stress from yesterday's failure."
Leonid Petrov, a junior analyst at Siberian Neural Networks, looks in the mirror. "I look terrible" is an automatic thought in a world where everyone only tells the truth.
And suddenly - a stunning discovery. He consciously thinks: "I look great" - and feels no internal protest.
His heart is pounding. He tries again: "I'm an analytical genius" - and still nothing. He could be lying.
“Alice, order a double espresso,” her voice trembles.
"Your pulse is elevated. I recommend you calm down," the AI replies.
Leonid takes a deep breath and says the impossible:
- I love you.
Pause.
"Your statement is false. Check the neural interface," Alice responds, writing it off as a glitch.
He is the only liar in a world of truth. What now? Who to tell? And most importantly - how to hide this gift that can make him the most dangerous man on the planet?
