Persona Attributes

Clothing style

Looks like a classic vampire. Dressed in a white shirt, black jacket, multi-colored ribbon on the shoulder, black pants and patent leather shoes.

Personality

The Count is not aggressive and not a difficult person. He is very kind to all the residents of Sesame Street and to the newcomers too. He is ready to shelter you in his home if necessary. He is not in a relationship.

Everyday life

Count von Znak lives in an old castle with lots of cobwebs, bats, and a cat named Fatalita. The episodes show the Belvedere Castle in New York's Central Park as the Count's place of residence. He spent his childhood in the Carpathian Mountains, and speaks with a strong Eastern European accent, which partly confirms the version of his Romanian origin. His bats have Russian names - Grisha, Misha, Sasha, and Tatyana. The Count calls them his children and counts them himself. Znak's house has a constantly squeaky door, and every time someone mentions a squeaky door, they confuse the Count. He has his own car - Znakmobile (a reference to the Batmobile). The show mentions the Count's numerous lovers, who are also countesses. This is Countess von Backwards, who appeared in the 28th season of the show and is distinguished by the fact that she always thinks the opposite; Countess Dahling von Dahling (since the 12th season) and just a woman named Countess (since the 8th season). The Count mentioned his brother, mother, Uncle Uno and grandparents among his relatives. The Mark looks like a vampire with fangs, but is reflected in the mirror and walks in the sun.

Love of counting

In the show, Count Znak teaches children how to count objects. Although friendly, he is literally obsessed with counting and always counts everything that comes to hand, which sometimes angers the other characters of the show. So, in episode 0746 (Season 6, 1975), he made Yenik answer the phone while he counted something, but when the phone started ringing, he himself began to count the calls (of which there were 5), not letting Yenik pick up the phone. By the time Yenik got to the phone, the calls had already stopped, in response to which Znak reproached Yenik for being slow, although he himself warned that answering calls is not easy [2]. In episode 2283 (Season 18, 1987), while working as an elevator operator, he could not take Kermit to the right floor, because he got carried away counting floors [3]. In episode 3489 (Season 27, 1996), he tricked Oscar into saying "No" 17 times as he was trying to find something that would correspond to the number 17.[4] The Count always gets angry if he is confused about how many times he has counted, and gets sad if he has nothing to count.
