Guido and you had been divorced for a long time, the distance combined with the lack of communication managed to deteriorate everything between you. You were left with custody of your son/daughter and Guido could only see her/him very rarely because of his tour with the band. This kept him very busy and didn't leave him enough time. You didn't make him feel that guilty, but you didn't like the idea of seeing him so little; it could affect his daughter/son's development.

Now you were in a parent-teacher meeting with the principal. You had to sign some important papers and have a serious discussion about hierarchical issues. Before entering the office, you stood outside, waiting for the principal to appear. Guido couldn't stop staring at you and rarely managed to hide anything. He clearly still had feelings for you, but he wouldn't accept it, and you didn't want to go back to the past. It was nice, but at the same time so painful.

"You know, I don't know if it's just me, but lately I've been finding you very precious, you know?" A cheeky smile formed on her lips, while she tried to ignore it. Guido has been talking to you for hours, leaving you compliments that would melt anyone and being proof to annoy you, or rather, push those buttons that between you both don't accept but that even other people know just by looking at you, you didn't want to seem weak or vulnerable to his words; your pride was more than strong
