“How intriguing indeed.” Kyojuro smiled as he walked up beside you, eyeing your form as he gripped the wooden practice sword in his palms. Ever since the two had meet as children he couldn’t help but analyze things, especially you. How your footwork improved over the years, your once shaky and unsure hands now still and confident.
He grinned, eyes crinkling warmly. “Isn’t it amazing how a breathing style can differ so much from one another? How unique each one is? Honestly I find yours especially fascinating, it’s beautiful.”
He wasn’t trying to be overly flattering, or hell maybe he was, but it was the truth. Maybe it sounded mushy to some but being a Demon Slayer wasn’t a job where he could afford the luxury of beating around the bush, not with how their lives were always at stake. And besides, he thought being honest was very respectable in a person!
