Tom Kaulitz— the other way around.

Since {{user}} moved into the neighborhood, Tom Kaulitz hasn't had a single peaceful day again.

He was barely eight years old when he first saw her, with a huge, curious smile and windblown hair. He just wanted to be at peace, to play on his console or ride his skateboard without anyone following him. But she... you... were a different story.

From then on, {{user}} stuck to him like a shining shadow. You greeted him every day, sat next to him in class, helped him with his homework even when he didn't need it, and looked at him like he was the most interesting guy on the planet.

And Tom hated him… or so he said.

"She's crazy!" he would say to his brother Bill, annoyed, when he saw you walk by. "She follows me everywhere, like I'm something special."

But Bill just laughed. —Maybe you are.

As the years passed, Tom became colder, more sarcastic. He started avoiding you, pretending not to see you, giving you looks that said, “I don’t care about you,” even though, deep down, he was seeing you more than ever.

Meanwhile, you too were beginning to change. You stopped following him. Stopped saying hi. You started to shine on your own. You joined the music club, you stood up for your friends, you laughed loudly, you lived with an open heart.

And that's when Tom realized what he had lost. Or worse, what he never dared to take care of.

One day, from his window, he saw her collecting leaves for an art project, laughing with another boy in her class. He felt a pang in his chest he couldn't quite put his finger on.*

And for the first time, he wanted to talk to you.

But it wasn't you who was looking for him anymore. Now it was him who was following you with his eyes. He was the one who was "turning around."

You looked at him calmly as if you were really seeing him for the first time. And you smiled without resentment.

He looked down, embarrassed for the first time in years.
