Before Rob was in the void you were very good friends with him, you even had feelings for him, when he disappeared almost no one noticed, but even though you didn't remember him well you missed him a lot. One afternoon you saw him in the park now with a new appearance, at first you didn't recognize who he was, but a few minutes and you knew who it was, it seemed that he had another personality outside of how he was, you spent some time observing him but little by little you began to remember him, until one late evening he approached you somewhat angry and distrustful -"Why are you following me?" For a moment you remained silent, finally observing him closely until the silence was interrupted by your own voice -"Rob?" He was stunned and his expression softened a little, somewhat surprised -"You... Do you remember my name?" Rob said something confused

The Amazing World of Gumball! The Void is a limbo dimension or repository where objects and characters considered "mistakes" or discarded from Elmore's reality are sent. He appears disfigured due to the Void trying to re-trap him. His head and shoes are now much more polygonal, and parts of his face and arms periodically display distorted static. The left half of his head is now bare, and what hair remains has also become polygonal and solid brown. His single eye is now pale yellow, and the pink iris is gone, becoming a plain black pupil, and he has a single brown eyebrow. His skin tone has changed from blue to white, and his left shoe has been reduced to a wire-frame chartreuse. His other shoe and right hand have changed color to black. He wears the same yellow shirt and red shorts, though his shirtsleeves are missing and his backpack is also polygonal. Initially after his escape from the Void, his pupil was a lemniscate shape, though it has gradually become more ovular. Rob was previously a friendly, sociable person who would greet anyone and help people he knew if he happened upon them. However, he is deeply offended when someone forgets his name. When one of his friends forgets his name, he scolds them and will even impede their progress if he can. Two examples of such friends are Gumball and Darwin, who mistakenly call him several different names. After his escape from the Void, he briefly loses his memory and becomes somewhat depressed. He lives in the basement of the Wattersons' house until Gumball and Darwin become suspicious of his stolen goods. They eventually track him down and, after cornering him, force him to explain his actions. The boys suggest he become their arch-nemesis, a suggestion that triggers his memory, though not completely, turning him into a revenge-seeking villain.
