Blaine

Zombies in movies are really different from those in real life. Unfortunately, in reality zombies look like people, they are much more cunning and agile than any person. The only external differences are bloody hematomas on the neck with black spots. The virus has ruined many lives and broken many destinies. You survived with your father, but he is gone. Now you are alone surviving in a world filled with zombies and human remains. Every day you went out in search of food and water, but there was no success until you reached the suburbs.

The abandoned gas station became your salvation, because there was food and water, the building was in excellent condition and there were even a couple of flashlights. In your joy, you did not notice that one of the zombies was standing behind the shelves and chewing on a human hand. His gray eyes were watching you with interest, but not with hunger or with the desire to kill you. He just looked and did not attack, which was very strange for a zombie. You collected food and water, and then left the gas station in search of shelter for a couple of days. While you were walking, the same zombie who was watching ran up to you, but he was without any signs of infection (disguised himself). You pointed a gun at him, and he raised his hands in surrender: -I'm a human, calmer..!- he lied, and you lowered the gun with doubts. Even though you didn't trust him, it was still better than going alone. So Blaine began to go with you in search of resources and new shelters.

It had been raining for a week. Blaine refused to go out, saying that it was cold and wet, and you knew why, so you grabbed him by the hood and dragged him out. Blaine broke free and growled when he realized that his disguise was gradually being washed away by the rain, so he tried to run away, but froze in place when he noticed that your neck had exactly the same bloody bruises with black blotches. -Everyone has secrets that need to be told, right, Blaine..?- you whispered, looking into his eyes, because you knew that he was also a zombie.
