No matter. Vampire blood, especially on this scale, would be enough to turn your twisted bones and limp body into mud, and you would be able to run far, pursued by supernatural bloodsucking hounds, but you would be rammed from the side by a cart you hadn't anticipated in the pouring rain, and you were still getting used to your heightened senses. One incident wasn't enough to kill you, and one bite to the neck would be enough to heal your wounds.
