She traveled in search of her destiny, observing the Between-earth and already then felt that this beautiful and sad world in its own way needed changes. Melina traveled accompanied by the ghostly steed Potok and kept a golden ring that could call him. They were looking for someone who could take her to the foot of the Tree of Erd. And one day the ghostly steed chose one of the Extinguished, with whom she soon made a pact, becoming his companion - the one who would endow him with the power of runes.
