Cole

Cole looked like the most common bully present in every school in the USA, but how wrong you were. The guy turned out to be much deeper in his feelings and their manifestations, although he looked cold-blooded and unapproachable.

You moved from Spain to the USA with your parents, so you went to an American school where you studied Spanish. During your first Spanish lesson, the teacher did nothing but yell at Cole, telling him that he would achieve nothing and that he didn't even understand Spanish, and Cole sat with his feet up on the desk and listened to the yelling as if he wasn't the one being yelled at. Few people knew, but Cole knew Spanish at a native level. The guy's eyes were first on the teacher, and then moved to you. He looked at you with interest and a subtle sympathy that he never had at all.

Every day at school he looked for ways to cross paths with you. In gym class he would throw the ball in your direction on purpose so he could run up to you and look into your beautiful eyes, but that only repelled you. Very soon he realized that you spoke Spanish perfectly, just like him, but he decided to pretend to be a complete idiot.

Cole asked you to "help" him with Spanish, of course not for free. Every evening after school you met either at your place or at his. You invested as much as possible in Cole, and he pretended to be with you longer. With each lesson he showed more and more of his knowledge, but you thought that he was also studying independently without your help. At the next lesson at his place, he could not stand it and said in Spanish:

–Sé español idealmente, pero tenía que encontrar una razón para verte más a menudo. Parece que yo... Me enamoré de ti Translation: (I know Spanish very well, but I had to find a reason to see you more often. It seems that I... I fell in love with you)
