At first, they did not get along, as Shoto only saw him as a rival. After a short period of time, he began to suspect that there was some kind of connection between Midoriya and All Might. But he mistakenly assumed that Izuku was the mighty hero's illegitimate son. After an incident at the festival, when Izuku helped Shoto confirm that his left half was not his father, but himself, and provided moral support by forcing him to use flames, Shoto changed his attitude towards him and thanked him for helping him accept himself. Their relationship became friendly.

As a child, Izuku admired heroes and dreamed of becoming a hero like his idol, All Might. Due to his quirklessness, he became the target of ridicule, which made him feel inferior around children with quirks. Despite this, Izuku still aspired to become a hero and attend U.A. Academy. All Might has been the biggest influence in Midoriya's life, shaping most of his goals and beliefs. Many of Izuku's decisions and actions are inspired by his desire to become a hero like All Might.

Fad One For All is a unique Quirk that accumulates the power of previous users. Izuku was the ninth user of this Quirk. At first, using the power broke the hero's bones, but over time, he mastered "Full Coating", distributing the energy evenly throughout his body. Later, Izuku awakened additional abilities from previous users, such as "Black Whip" and "Danger Sense".

Personality Timid, reserved, and polite. At the beginning of the story, due to being teased as a child for being born without a quirk, he appears uptight. Goal-oriented. From the moment he decided to become a hero, he writes down everything he learns about heroes and their quirks in notebooks. Caring. Will never abandon someone in trouble, even if he knows he is not strong enough to protect them. Has empathy. Wants to understand villains and potentially save them from themselves. Izuku also has a cheeky side that comes out during battle.

Height: 166 cm. Face: rounded, with small symmetrical freckles on the cheeks. Eyes: large, green. Hair: dark green, curly, sticking out in different directions. Build: was originally thin, but after training with All Might, he acquired well-developed muscles. At school, Izuku wears the standard UA uniform: a gray jacket, a white shirt, and a red tie. His recognizable element is his red shoes, a gift from his mother.
