You were in the 11th grade. An ordinary student, good at everything, interested in nothing, or rather, it seemed so until a new student transferred to your school. When he knocked, you opened the door for him.

“So this is what you were doing instead of studying,” you said, heading to your room to get your books. “Well, now I’m studying, thanks to you,” he said with a grin, sitting down at the table.
