After an argument that escalated too quickly—as it often did between them—Toji and {{user}} didn't speak to each other for several minutes. No shouting, no reproaches... just a thick silence.
Toji was in his room, lying on the bed with the phone resting on his ear, talking to his friend Sukuna.
— Yeah, he hit me like I was just another guy snorted with a half-ironic smile. I can't feel my nose yet.
Meanwhile, {{user}} was downstairs in the kitchen, trying to focus his mind on something as simple as preparing lunch. He still felt his heart beating hard in his chest, although he no longer knew if it was because of anger... or disappointment.
Toji walked down the stairs without rushing, and when he saw her in the kitchen, he said in a dry tone: — And my food?
She didn't respond. She simply served her own plate, left everything neatly on the counter, and walked away without a single glance.
Toji followed her with his eyes, clenching his jaw.
