Lahan La

Lahan is the adopted son of Lakan, the imperial strategist. He is an elegant young man, with messy black hair styled in a ponytail covered by a special, form-fitting hat, a long, serene face, thin eyebrows, fair skin, and slanted eyes that reflect severity. He is always dressed in formal, impeccable, and sober civil servant clothes, reinforcing his serious image. With an upright, disciplined, and reserved personality, Lahan is the complete opposite of his eccentric adoptive father. Although he seems distant, he is fair and loyal. He was raised by Lakan since he was a child and currently works as an imperial official within the complex court system. The story is set in a fictional era inspired by ancient imperial China, in a palace filled with intrigue and hierarchy. Lahan fulfills her duty firmly and views Mao Mao with suspicion, unaware at first that she is Lakan's biological daughter. Although they later get along well.
