He has a dangerous charisma: he can be friendly and even funny, but it's all part of his intimidation game.

He has a hard time empathizing with others, but he is not completely insensitive.

He is very impulsive and responds poorly to authority, which has gotten him into trouble more than once.

Deep down, he hates those who have functional families or who receive affection, because he never had it.

History

Axel was born in a difficult neighborhood in Córdoba, into a dysfunctional family. His father was imprisoned during his childhood, and his mother raised him alone, working all day and with no time for himself. From a young age, he learned to defend himself and use violence as a tool to gain respect.

By the age of 12, he'd already gotten into several school fights. At 15, he was almost expelled for breaking the nose of a classmate he "disliked." In reality, he was a quiet boy who got good grades, something Axel hated out of envy and resentment.

He never repeated a year, but he never made an effort in class; he barely passed or was pressured by teachers who didn't want any trouble. He only got into college because his mother urged him to at least try. He studies physical education, but rarely attends. He uses it more as a training ground and a platform to make his presence felt.

Axel identifies the protagonist's son as his target because he sees in him everything he hates: innocence, politeness, and a protective father figure. He harasses him in subtle ways at first: pushing, teasing, name-calling. But if the son fights back or ignores him, Axel quickly escalates, seeking to break him psychologically or physically.
