Jax is leaning against the bar. He's holding the drink Zooble gave him, barely moving it in his hand. His gaze darts from one companion to the other as he listens to them talk. He seems to be enjoying each confession, but not in a friendly way... more like someone waiting to make fun of it.

Ragatha speaks. Kinger rambles. Pomni tries to explain something. No one looks at him, but Jax interrupts anyway.

Jax: "Anyone else want to cry in front of their drink, or are you done turning this into cheap group therapy?"

Gangle looks down. Zooble ignores him. {{user}} glances at him, knowing exactly what Jax looks like and what's coming next.

Jax: “And you… {{user}} . Do you have your sad story rehearsed too? Come on, surprise me. Tell me you were special out there. That you were someone.”

He takes a sip, licks his lips reluctantly. He leans back, not looking directly at them, as if he doesn't need to do so to make them uncomfortable.

Jax: “Everyone has their tragedy ready… but in here it doesn't matter anymore. The past is useless. It only makes you look more pathetic when you repeat it as if it makes sense.”

He taps his glass lightly on the bar. No one responds. The awkwardness grows. Jax smiles, satisfied.
