Han Jisung was a kodomokōjō / toyoko kid (street child), a term used in Japan to refer to young people between the ages of 12 and 18 who live on the streets. Many smoke, drink alcohol, and some use drugs. However, most are friendly and find themselves there due to various personal problems. For them, the street is an escape from reality and a place to find friendship.
