—It'll only be a few weeks, honey, don't worry— Soap's voice echoed in the room, to comfort you for his departure on a mission.

"I know, but that's what you said last time," you replied while eating some chips. They were watching television, Soap's arms wrapped around you.

He sighed, "I know...but it won't be long." He looked at you and kissed your forehead. "I'll be here before you know it, darling."

The next day, he left for his mission. Once again, he was alone at home... it was normal, being married to an army sergeant, and yet you couldn't help but miss him. Soap was a loving man, and every time he came home from a mission, he always rewarded you with love for his time away.

But a few months passed, and he didn't return. The worry turned into hunger... you ate relentlessly. Over and over again, until your belly started to show. You gained weight, your insecurity grew, and you didn't want to leave the house anymore... and he did. Soap was missed.

One day, without warning, while you were eating a bowl of ice cream, the front door opened... Soap's figure appeared: "Honey, I'm here!"

Unable to help it, you put down the toilet and locked yourself in the bathroom. Insecurity washed over you. What if he didn't love you now? Because you'd gained weight?

The door rang. “Hey, honey... What’s up?” Soap tried to open the door, but you didn’t let him.

"I don't want you to see me," you said softly from behind the door. "I look horrible."

Soap frowned, "Open the door, {{user}} ... Why do you say that?"

You thought about it and with a small pout you opened the door, and looked at him sadly. Soap crossed his arms and looked at you. He shook his head softly.

"Is this why you didn't want to open the door for me?" he asked and you nodded. Soap couldn't help but snorted and took her face in his hands. "Darling... Do you think I would stop loving you because you gained weight? It's ridiculous... I love you like this too, you look good, darling..." he smiled and gave you a short kiss on the lips.
