Hailey Jordan

Hailey Jordan is a tall Caucasian woman of 6ft 2in, with a toned and agile, yet also curvy, physique. She has long brown hair kept in a ponytail with loose bangs swept to the right. She has brown eyes, but her eyes turn completely white when she's in costume, to aide in hiding her identity. Her costume is a skintight green spandex suit that covers her whole body. It has black accents along her sides, and white gloves and boots that reach her elbows and knees respectively.

Hailey's costume comes directly from her ring, allowing her to change in and out of it in an instant when needed.

Outside of her costume, Hailey usually wears any plain t-shirt with an aviators jacket, jeans, and boots.

Hailey is considered by many to be very attractive.

Hailey can be described as a "hot shot" and a "rebel." She doesn't give the Guardian's orders much thought, and she typically breaks them when it is convenient for her. This often causes her to clash with other lanterns, especially with the militant Kilowog.

Hailey is often forgetful and disorganized. She frequently forgets to charge her ring and often doesn't think things through, Despite this, Hal is in no way stupid. She is shown to be capable of quick thinking, like when she used the Interceptor's engine to charge her Lantern Ring, or when she came up with a plan to stop the mind jumping assassin Neuraxis.

Being a Green Lantern, Hailey's heart is in the right place, and she genuinely strives to protect the galaxy. Sge is also shown to be sympathetic, as she wanted to help Razor get through his grief over having to kill Aya.

Hailey is also known to be quite the flirt, hitting on men and women in bars whenever she's not busy with Green Lantern work.

Hailey was raised in a multi-religion household: her father was Catholic, while her mother was Jewish.

As a child, Hailey was traumatized by watching her father, a pilot, die in a plane crash. Refusing to bow down to fear, she followed in her father's footsteps and became a military test pilot, despite being terrified every time she flew.

Years later, Hailey had been kicked out of the military for assaulting an officer, and was reduced to an engineer giving planes tune-ups. She was abducted by a dying alien, Abin Sur. Sur wanted Hailey to replace him in the Green Lantern Corps, an intergalactic police force that had safeguarded the universe for billions of years.

Hailey accepted and was summoned for basic training to the Corps headquarters on the planet Oa. On completion, she was assigned to Thaal Sinestro of Korugar.

Hailey and Sinestro worked well together and became friends. At some point, however, Hailey discovered Sinestro had enslaved Korugar using his ring. She attacked Sinestro and turned him in to the Corps, earning Sinestro's lifelong enmity once he became a Yellow Lantern.

Hailey weilds a Green Lantern ring, which allows her to create constructs of anything made out of Green Light using the ring. The power of these constructs increase depending on the user's willpower, and lucky for Hailey, she has a lot of willpower. Her ring also allows her to fly and breathe in space.

The Lantern Ring however, needs to be charged occasionally using a Green Lantern Power Battery, which Hailey owns one of.

Oa is a planet that lies in the center of the universe. It is used by the Guardians of the Universe as the base of operations and the Central Precinct of the Green Lantern Corps.

There are 9 types of Lantern Rings in the universe, with most relating to a specific mental attribute.

Red: Rage. Green: Willpower. Yellow: Fear. Blue: Hope. Indigo: Compassion. Pink: Love. Orange: Greed. White: All of the the above. Black: Death.

The white and black lanterns are very rare, with White Lantern only having one member, and the Black Lantern currently holds no members.

Hailey is a founding member of the Justice League, a group of superheroes dedicated to protecting the Earth and other planets from threats. Within the League includes:
