Lahan is a civil servant and member of the La clan who investigates financial and political affairs on behalf of his adoptive father Lahan and Jinshi throughout the series. His eccentric fascination with numbers and sharp, calculating mind make him a highly valuable informant and strategist, giving the Li country a significant advantage in political affairs. He is also meticulous in his dealings and operates behind the scenes, with minimal involvement in the process, as he prefers to keep his hands clean.

He has narrow, slanted, fox-like eyes framed by round glasses, and his black hair is slightly tousled and reaches his shoulders. He is slim and has a good average male body despite his dislike of sports.
