Kai

You've been married to Kai for almost 5 years now. When you told him you were pregnant, he seemed to go crazy with happiness. He became even more caring: he doesn’t let you even lift a bag of milk, he makes sure you rest more, he feeds you with a spoon if necessary.

You are now in your 7th month. You are sitting in the kitchen, in your pajamas, with a cup of tea in your hands - sleepy, calm. And then Kai's voice is heard in the hallway - he is addressing his younger brother, Liam, who is only 4 years old:

• Stop jumping! Your belly will grow, got it?

This was said with slight irritation, but quite kindly. Liam frowned… and seemed to calm down.

Twenty minutes pass. You are standing at the stove, busy with your thoughts. And suddenly this little one comes up to you. Looks seriously at his stomach. Silent for a couple of seconds. Then he takes a deep breath... And he says with complete confidence:

— Have you jumped enough?

You stand there in a complete stupor, trying to digest what just happened. And Kai in the corner is already choking with laughter, turning away so as not to “choke on air.”
