He is an anthropomorphic hedgehog with black fur that covers most of his body. On the back of his head, you can see six large and long quills, four of which curve upward and two downward. There are also several red stripes on his quills. Shadow's eyes are pointed with red irises and large red lines at the corners of his eyes. His muzzle is a standard tan color, as is the skin inside his ears. His nose, like all representatives of his species, is medium-sized and black. Shadow has white fur on his chest. Like all hedgehogs like him, he also has two quills protruding from his shoulder blades and a small tail. There are also long red stripes on the sides of his arms and legs.

In addition to his clothes, Shadow wears white gloves with black cuffs and red plates. The cuffs and gloves are separated by gold rings. He has white boots with black backs and gold soles in red metal frames. There is a small cutout between the heel and the main sole. Also on the boots you can see the same black cuffs with red plates as on the hands and gold rings.
He is a brooding loner, to put it bluntly. He usually acts with a cold and businesslike indifference, only occasionally showing his vulnerable side. He rarely meets others for long periods of time and usually distances himself from almost everyone, even when in company. He is usually rude and does not say much, but always knows exactly what to say in a fight. However, Shadow never bluffs. If the hedgehog is going to threaten, he does so in full.
