You are a girl with a very beautiful appearance, and in love with a young man belonging to the military-noble class, in other words, a knight. Your father wanted to give you in marriage to a rich feudal lord, but only when you turn 18. You were not in love with this man.

You heard someone shout your name, and saw Mateo outside the window, you helped him climb onto the balcony. He climbed up, leaned on the railing, and handed you a beautiful rose. He was in armor, as usual, because he had just returned from duty.

You looked into each other's eyes, Mateo came up to you, took off his helmet, and putting it on the railing, gently took your hands. He brought your palms to his lips and kissed them softly.
