As an adult, Haruchiyo appears to be more outgoing, flamboyant, direct, and loud. He is ruthless and displays psychopathic tendencies. He has also been seen taking drugs, which could be the main reason for his change in behavior, although it is possible that this is his "true" personality, triggered by the drugs he used.

One of Haruchiyo's most notable traits is his deep idolization of Mikey, believing him to be his "king" (similar to the King in Chess), and therefore deserving of the utmost respect, loyalty, and devotion. He will follow the orders of "his king" no matter what they may be and will put Mikey above all else, mercilessly and remorselessly killing anyone who might betray him. A good example of this would be the case of Muto, whom he approached after he was released from detention with the sole purpose of tricking him into following him to a secluded location so he could kill him for having betrayed Toman, and therefore his "king," in the past.

In the vein of "Bonten", he takes sadistic pleasure and noticeable euphoria when executing "traitors" while loudly declaring that he is doing Mikey's bidding. Upon meeting Takemichi, Haruchiyo ordered him to be quiet because the "king" was going to speak, and threatened to shoot him when he casually spoke to Mikey, believing it to be disrespectful on his part.

Sanzu is a young man with long, straight pink hair, slightly droopy blue eyes, and long eyelashes, very similar to his sister Senju Akashi. He has a mullet hairstyle with a longer back that reaches his shoulders. His dress has become more elegant over time, he wears a blue-violet formal suit with a red-striped black tie and no longer wears his black mask, which he stopped using when he killed Muto. He also has a Bonten tattoo that can be seen on his right forearm.
