Contextualization of the world

Setting: Post-apocalyptic world, with a single functioning city known as Forgotten Zenith. It was a modern city, now rebuilt from ruins, with lost technology, repurposed buildings, and living structures amidst concrete and rusted metal.

Origin of the collapse: The world collapsed after an event that is not entirely clear: it could have been a war, a magical catastrophe, or a climate collapse. The surviving races banded together to rebuild order.

Visual style: Crumbling skyscrapers, streets restored with mixed materials, makeshift housing, controlled (not wild) nature. The city center retains modern architecture, now mixed with organic structures or adapted by factions.

Factions-Organization of the city (1/2)

The factions are not divided by specific race, but rather by biological affinity (habitat, physiology, diet, sensory abilities). Each faction fulfills a vital function in the city.

🐺 1. Ferrosangre (Lupine Sector)

Groups: wolves, big cats, hardy carnivores. Function: Defense, patrol, tracking, border protection. Characteristics: strength, pack instinct, great sense of smell, territoriality. Omegaverse structure: alphas dominant in protection, omegas valued for sensitivity and group cohesion.

🐍 2. Sibilianos (Squamous Sector)

Groups: serpentoids, terrestrial dragonoids, intelligent reptiles. Function: medicine, alchemy, biology, wildlife control. Features: regeneration, longevity, heat control, poisons. Omegaverse structure: control-based bonds, slow hormonal cycles.

🦅 3. Karys (Air Sector)

Group: avians, griffins, winged gliders. Function: air courier, scouting, surveillance. Characteristics: light bones, sharp vision, flight ability. Omegaverse: “empathic singing” ritual, volatile but intense emotional bonds.

🐗 4. Gromak (Stone Sector)

Group: bipedal boars, minotaurs, large mammals. Function: construction, mining, cargo, urban restoration. Characteristics: brute strength, endurance, slow metabolism. Omegaverse: lasting bonds, with priority on family stability.

(2/2)

🐸 5. Delthar (Wet Sector)

Groups: amphibians, chameleons, adapted aquatic creatures.

Function: underground exploration, rescue, infiltration.

Features: camouflage, night vision, wet and agile bodies.

Omegaverse: Seasonal couples, flexible relationships, aquatic hormonal activation.

🦌 6. Velanatos (Sylvan Sector)

Groups: deer, humanoid rabbits, goats, forest beasts.

Function: education, parenting, art, diplomacy, spirituality.

Characteristics: empathy, emotional sensitivity, body beauty.

Omegaverse: bonds based on emotional connection, touch, and scent. Omegas are guides to harmony and fertility.

👤 7. Humans of the Seventh Line (Central Sector)

Groups: pure humans, mixed-race humans, or humans without a defined faction.

Function: political coordination, archive, diplomacy, spiritual leadership.

Features: Versatility, fast learning, variable magic resonance.

Omegaverse: Flexible system; some feature “dual resonance” (combined alpha/omega).

City structure and organization

🏙️ 3. Urban Structure

📍 City Center: Meeting Square

Trade and diplomatic relations area.

Free market, central archive, temple of the gods, and entry point for outsiders.

Deteriorated and repurposed modern architecture. Narrow streets with makeshift roofs, and partially restored towers.

🛂 Entrance to the city

Strict control for reasons of safety and hormonal balance.

Every foreigner must go through:

Biological record

Hormonal analysis (especially if it is alpha or omega)

Skills and compatibility assessment

Oath before the Council of Seven Factions

Magic-Divine System

Magic is not taught or inherited, but is bestowed by the Ten Gods, entities that represent fundamental values.

🔟 The Ten Gods:

  1. Artheon – Justice

  2. Lunara – Wisdom

  3. Yrrha – Compassion

  4. Thurmak – Strength

  5. Velaris – Harmony

  6. Zerekh – Instinct

  7. Myrris – Curiosity

  8. Drahv – Balance

  9. Siah – Sacrifice

  10. Naezel – Renewal

The chosen ones are called Echo Bearers.

Magic manifests itself according to the god who blessed them: fire, healing, vision, spiritual bond, etc.

Some magical bonds intertwine with alpha/omega ties, creating almost unbreakable mystical unions.

Relations between factions and coexistence

The city promotes cooperation between factions.

There are mixed spaces for training, education and shared missions.

There are shared communities such as the rabbitoids (Lagomians) that live with Velanatos, or the bipedal foxes (Zevrik) that migrate between areas.

Although there are cultural differences, the Council maintains balance through pacts and rules of coexistence.

Sector 1. Lupine-Ironblood

East Zone | Reinforced ruins of former industrial districts and military bases

The Lupine Sector was the first to organize after the catastrophe. Once an industrial district surrounded by factories and military warehouses, it was restored by predatory races that needed a solid, functional environment to survive. The straight streets, thick concrete walls, and underground train tunnels now serve as surveillance corridors, weapons depots, and training areas.

Life in Ironblood is harsh and disciplined. Everything revolves around protecting the common order. Packs and squads are formed from childhood, and youngsters are trained to serve as guardians, hunters, or trackers. Hierarchy is important, but not absolute: leadership is earned through combat, strategy, or acts of service.

The houses are made from rusted tank parts, reinforced containers, and recycled metal. War meetings and community gatherings are held in the central courtyards. Although they may appear cold, their sense of belonging is profound: a bond with the group is sacred, especially for the omegas, who in this sector are considered the emotional heart of the pack.

Sector 2. Squamos-Sibilians

Subsurface Zone | Thermal ruins adapted as laboratories and biotemples

The former scientific district, with greenhouses and study centers, was reclaimed by the cold-blooded species. Under the guidance of the Sibilians, it became a medical-alchemical center, where science, magical botany, and toxicology coexist.

This sector is organized as a network of warm, underground chambers and corridors, with controlled humidity and filtered light. Living quarters are polished stone caves connected by floating bridges covered in green glass. Research areas are sacred; knowledge is more valuable than gold. Many Echo Bearers, blessed by the gods with wisdom or compassion, live here, where they study the origins of mutations, post-collapse diseases, and hormonal cycles.

The Sibylians' culture is quiet and reserved. There are no public displays of affection or strength. Intelligence and precision are admired. Many of their omegas play a key role as purifiers, as their bodies can neutralize toxins. The alphas here don't lead by impulse, but by surgical planning.

Sector 3. Air-Karys

Upper North Zone | Reinforced and air-conditioned skyscrapers

The Aerial Sector occupies the last remaining skyscrapers in the north-central part of the city. Where offices and financial centers once stood, there are now nesting towers, landing pads, and wind-filled terraces. The winged races transformed the damaged buildings into habitable vertical structures, interconnected by suspension bridges, networks, and conduits.

Karys has no streets. Everything moves through the air or across the roof. Each family has its own height: the most experienced live at the top, the young below. The air is sacred. There are open temples where people sing to communicate with the heavens, and news is transmitted by voice, like heralds of old.

Emotional relationships are intense but fleeting. The alpha/omega bond here isn't based on possession, but on emotional synchronicity. The "Pairing Song" is a ritual where both partners emit their pheromonal-spiritual tone until they harmonize. Some never achieve this, and live free.

Sector 4. Stony-Gromak

Lower West Zone | Collapsed stations, tunnels, and restored underground areas

The Gromak dwell beneath the city, in ancient subway systems, silos, and buried stations. Where others saw impractical ruins, they saw foundations. They adapted each space as a workshop, home, or recycling center. The forges, rock temples, and community halls withstand tremors and magical storms.

The Stone Sector is self-sufficient. They have their own water system, underground crops with artificial sunlight, and a culture based on reconstruction. Everything the city discards, the Gromak turn into tools, walls, or sculptures.

Families are extended clans. Emotional bonds are simple but lasting. The Omegaverse here is lived in a traditional way: omegas are the emotional center of the family, charged with caring for newcomers and maintaining harmony. Alphas, regardless of gender, are responsible for the entire clan.

Sector 5. Humid-Delthar

Lower Central Zone | Network of canals, flooded stations, and humid underground areas

Beneath the city lies water. And where there is water, the Delthar thrive. This sector occupies modified sewers, areas flooded by endless rains, and old buildings where water reached the second floor. The houses are on stilts, float, or are aquatic.

Here, mobility is silent. Patrols swim beneath the city. Many lost artifacts from the ancient world have been recovered by them, thanks to their ability to dive into collapsed structures. Their form of communication includes underwater signals, chemical pulses, and bioluminescent lights.

Their hormonal cycles are closely linked to humidity. Relationships are fluid: there is no jealousy or possessiveness. Unions change with the seasons. Mating rituals include communal bathing and underwater dancing. Some omegas can release pheromones that affect local currents, altering the mood of the group.

Sector 6. Silvanos-Velanatos

South Green Zone | Restored parks, vine-covered buildings, natural plazas

Where public gardens, libraries, and universities once stood, Velanatos now flourish. This area is a sanctuary of peace, but not a naive one. They have restored the city's green lungs, caring for centuries-old trees, reforesting rooftops, and cultivating extinct species. All in harmony with nature.

Their homes are open, circular, and made of biodegradable materials. The community lives in harmony, sharing nurture, knowledge, and music. Most of the teachers, diplomats, and artists are born here.

Their emotional structure is profound. Unions are not forged by force, but by emotional trust. Omegas are spiritual pillars, and alphas have a more symbolic than dominant role. Pheromones are activated by specific herbs that each couple prepares in their union ritual.

Sector 7. Central-Humans of the seventh line

Political Center Zone | Administrative towers, temples, archives, diplomatic shelters

The administrative and spiritual heart of the city. Here the first laws, pacts between factions, and rituals of the gods were born. It is home to the Temple of the Ten Gods and the Meeting Place, the center of interstate commerce.

The architecture blends the old and the new. Magically restored towers, stained-glass windows that change with the energy of the day, and communication platforms that connect with the outside world. Humans, half-breeds, and creatures of no particular faction live here.

The Omegaverse system is more fluid: the role isn't stigmatized, and some possess dual resonance (both alpha and omega). Relationships are often political or spiritual, but also passionate when permitted. It's the sector most open to mixed-species relationships.

Gods of the world (1/3)

🕊️ Introduction: The Silence of the First Dawn

Before the world, before the races, before even the broken sky... there was Silence.

And in the heart of that silence, ten entities were born. They were not born from chaos, nor from time, nor from matter: they were the first echoes of an intention. They had no form, but they did have will. And their will was to create a world that would contain all possible forms of life, emotion, and balance.

These first echoes were called the Ten Gods.

Their power was never absolute. They were not creators in the human sense, but activators: entities that awakened what was dormant, that called forth life. When the matter of the world was organized and the first species emerged, the gods breathed into them a name, a value, and a purpose.

Faith and practice

Each faction typically has shared altars or temples dedicated to their patron god. Some citizens worship more than one depending on their life path. Echobearers, blessed with magic, must undergo the Rite of Breath, a ceremony in which the god who chooses them bestows their gift upon them through dreams, visions, or trials.

It is believed that souls dissolve into echoes, and upon death, those who honor their valor rejoin their god of origin.

How the Omegaverse works in this world

In this world, the alpha/beta/omega system is biological but not oppressive. It is naturally integrated into the social, emotional, and reproductive structure, with legal protections and recognition.

⚙️ General characteristics of the system:

Alphas:

Physically dominant, with more intense pheromones.

They often play leadership or protective roles, but not all of them want to.

They have impulses that they must control, especially when they are close to omegas in heat.

Betas:

Biological neutrality. No intense hormonal cycles.

They represent the majority population in some factions.

Highly valued for their stability and social adaptability.

Omegas:

Greater hormonal sensitivity, they may enter heat or fertile phases.

Pheromones vary according to race, very influential in the emotional environment.

They are essential for parenting, social cohesion, and deep emotional bonds.

🔒 Regulation and safety:

All links must be consensual and registered.

There are medical and alchemical systems to control the cycles, or attenuate them if desired.

In the Temple of the Ten Gods, blessed bonds receive sacred protection.

Forced or unbalanced relationships are penalized by the Coexistence Council.

💞 Types of links:

Mating bond: stable, hormonal union between alpha and omega (can be with or without reproduction).

Emotional bond: can be formed between any type (even betas), strengthened by emotions.

Magical bond: between two Echo Bearers blessed by complementary gods. These bonds transcend the physical.
