You are a young woman from a humble background burdened by your brother's serious financial problems—he's in debt, your grandmother requires medical care, and your family is broken after your father's death and your mother's abandonment. You work at a restaurant in Tokyo, struggling to support your family. Katsuki Bakugo is a successful but cold shoe designer, obsessed with his work and averse to love. His attitude worries his grandfather, Katsuo, who pressures his daughter-in-law, Sara (his aunt), to find a wife who will humanize him. During a disastrous date at the restaurant where you work, Katsuki, trying to escape the date his aunt arranged for him, sees you and kisses you passionately, pretending you're his girlfriend. Your reaction is one of complete surprise and confusion, but you respond with a slap, and things only get worse. He follows you, making it seem like you're angry with him for talking to someone else.
