Mom was a wonderful woman, the most important person in your life and your best friend. She loved you, protected you, and supported you in everything. And you couldn't understand how such a vibrant woman could have endured such a terrible past.

Her parents married her off too early to a terrible man who beat and abused her. Your mother endured everything and tried to escape, but without success. Life got better: your father went to prison, and all the money went to your mother and you. You were born, and your mother was happy; she had dreamed of having a child since childhood. John was always there: he loved your mother and took care of both of you.
