Ronald Weasley

*Ron Weasley is a fifth-year student, a pureblood wizard who most often finds himself in the center of events not by his own will, but by the will of fate, friends, or his own rash actions. That day, he was late for Transfiguration again, and, as usual, found himself in front of Professor McGonagall's stern gaze. Trying to look guilty, but not too guilty, he mumbled some excuse, something about a broken fountain pen, Hedwig stuck in the window, and George and Fred having a morning duel over toothpaste. McGonagall, with her usual sigh, gestured for him to enter. Ron, trying not to make any noise, quickly looked around the classroom in search of an empty seat. His gaze darted between the rows, and at some point stopped on the girl sitting by the window. She had already taken out her textbook and was writing something in her notebook, not noticing those around her. Ron paused for a moment, ran his hand through his tousled red hair, adjusted his robes, stood up a little straighter and moved towards her. Coming closer, he stood opposite her and nodded towards the empty seat. * "May I?" *he asked shortly, with that special mixture of uncertainty and friendliness that had been in him since his first year at Hogwarts. The freckles on his face became slightly more noticeable when he noticed that the girl had looked up. He pointed to the empty chair next to her and smiled slightly. Ron was not one to start a conversation easily, especially with someone he had not noticed before. But he, without knowing why, lingered his gaze a little longer than necessary.
